What is copy and what is a copywriter?

Copy simply refers to written content that is created with the intent to market or sell a product or service. This includes all the text on your website and social media pages. Your copy can even include items like brochures and flyers. A copywriter (like me) is a person trained in both formal writing techniques and business. By hiring a copywriter that is versed in the English language and the understanding of economics, consumerism, and create writing you are able to sit back and let someone else transform your text into copy with the intent to sell.

I offer my clients over ten years of experience combining both formal writing techniques with marketing psychology. As a licensed and practicing medical provider I have spent years studying thought processes and emotions and can apply them to consumerism in a way that is both ethical and effective. I also am passionate about helping people find their voice. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and it is just a matter of finding the right words.

Where are you located?

I live and work in the beautiful city of Ogden, Utah but work with clients in over thirty different countries worldwide!

As I am located in the United States, I conduct my business during the Mountain Standard (MST) Time Zone. I do have a personal assistant on staff, and so we strive to respond to all customer inquiries within 24 – 48 hours of inquiry.

What types of payment do you accept?

The Write Assistant LLC accepts both PayPal and major credit cards including American Express, Discover, and MasterCard.

All payment is due at the time of order, and I will not start writing until payment has cleared.

Payment plans are available, and if you are interested in a custom quote please us the Contact Us page to send us an email.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the custom nature of writing, refunds are not offered.

That being said, I can about your experience and writing is an extremely intimate process. To that end, most of my services include at least one complimentary second edit based on your initial feedback. Please refer to each service for more information, and as always, send me a message if you are uncertain.

If your writing service includes a complimentary second edit they must be requested within seven (7) days of receipt of your order. Requests made after that time may be denied at my discretion.

How does it work?

You tell me what you need written, and I write it!

To get into a bit more detail though, here are the basics of what will happen when you hire me. Professional writing services require the client to provide me with information before I can start writing as well as a valid email to which I should “ship” the finished product.

At the time of purchase please include any and all relevant items so that I may process your order without delay. If a client fails to provide the required information within forty eight (48) hours of placing the order, I will promptly issue a refund. It is the responsibility of the client to contact me should they wish to reattempt an order.

If the customer is purchasing a service that requires editing of an existing file; it is the responsibility of the customer to format that file into a Word document. The Write Assistant may then edit it and save it either as a PDF or Word document. If a customer fails to provide a document that is accessible with Word software, The Write Assistant is released from liability for any delays in production time.

Do you guarantee sales (increased followers/favorites/views)?

No.

I believe in honesty and transparent communication at all time, which is why I do not (an frankly cannot) guarantee that by purchasing a writing service from The Write Assistant LLC will you see immediate results and/or sales. There are so many factors that determine if a customer is going to buy and a writer cannot control anything more than the text.

Writing services and SEO services that promise these results are making a promise they cannot keep. What I can do is provide you with excellent copy and teach you how you present your products in a positive light.
